I have been so busy with work and alot of other things. I cannot even find time to blog. Anyway, some interesting updates and news I want to share with the readers.

I am still high from the Mama Mia! show I watched two weeks ago, and now here comes another show that is making my heart beat faster - and I mean literally making my heart beat fast!
I missed sharing about my great buys. I am actually buying alot of stuff in preparation for a trip but I want to blog about first these really nice items which were delivered the other day.
Taadaah...
Mardi Gras?
This necklace is so grand! That would make any simple outfit extra special.
You guys know how much I looove groupons and online deals. However, I got gazillion vouchers and gift certificates which are expiring, and I couldn't find time to use them (now, that's a lesson learned). You wouldn't want to know how many gift certificates and vouchers had expired on me last December.
Now, I am giving away Php3,950 worth of Non Surgical Facelift from Senova Spa. The voucher is good until March 10 - and I will not be able to use it because I am scheduled to leave the country.
I re-organized by office pedestal and found the computer eyeglasses which was prescribed by the optometrist two years ago. I actually have 20/20 vision but I was advised to wear one to protect my eyes. I have worn it less than 10 times. It is not because it is unfashionable. It is actually color pink with nice shape - not the type which is worn by your grandma. I made a promise to wear it whenever I need to wear it (like when I am in the office, or when I am blogging). It is not cheap, in the first place. Prescription glasses cost alot - lucky that I am, it was covered by my medical plans.
Ok, it's been four days, and I still hear the nice blending sound of voices of the cast of Mama Mia!Mamma Mia, here I go again.. My my, how can I resist you. Mamma Mia, does it show again.. My my, just how much I've missed you I know the last show had been concluded. But I am not blogging for promotion. I am blogging because I am happy, and ecstatic! I am so glad I was given the chance to watch it, and of course, I brought my parents with me. Who else can better appreciate the music of ABBA?

I am giving you a chance to watch the 7 For All MankindSpring 2012 Marketing Campaign as directed and photographed by Award-Winning Actor, James Franco. Yes, he's the guy from the Spiderman movie! The campaign launch includes 7 For All Mankind very own You Tube channel debuting on February 15th (youtube.com/7forallmankindjeans). The print and digital assets will live on the YouTube channel including curated episodes, which delve into the key cast members’ journey throughout the shoot. How exciting!
I love the feel of the video. It is youthful, fun and just light. I wish I were part of that video. Is this what they call the California Dream? Wow, I wish life is just as simple as that. No deadlines, no meetings and no client calls.
On a marketing perspective, it is like an onsite video coverage. It doesn't try hard to sell the product. It is simply nice and fun.
If Chyng Reyes calls it Food Porn, I will call it Food Sadomasochism. Why? Well, let's just say I found pleasure in eating the most delicious and expensive food that would give me pain and a little more fat (a skinny person that I am with that big bulge in the tummy). But I cannot say NO to a brunch treat from Marriott Hotel last Sunday. Sunday is supposedly lazy-ing around day, but the timing of the event is perfect, plus Marriott Cafe has expanded its menu. I need to check it out!
I were like a kid (together with other blogger friends, media people and foodies), we went straight to the Chocolate Room and got amazed with not just chunks and bits of chocolates, or cakes, but most especially with this Chocolate Masterpiece - a Chocolate Chef.
She was sitting there for couple of hours holding that chocolate tablet while we had our pictures taken and got addicted with the smell of yummy chocolate filling the room (it is that good!). It was funny that one of the bloggies realized that "that" is a real person after our brunch.
I was feeling down, stressed and lost for so many days; but I just feel so good because I helped an old woman. It was just a couple of minutes ago. On my way home. My head was actually spinning and I had hazy thoughts, when I saw an old woman walking down slowly on the stairs - her weak knees caused a little traffic. She was being assisted by a guy - the type who looks like a typical accused robber/criminal/ex-convict (I am not being judgemental here). But that same guy inspired me. I heard the old woman told the guard she is going to this place where I am also heading. The guard just led the woman to where she can take a jeepney. I was expecting more from the uniformed man.
Anyway, I just grabbed the old woman's hands and led her to the jeepney. She even offered to pay for my fare. But I am quick, and I am the one who is employed, so I paid for our fare. The old woman kept on shouting she is a senior, so we could get a discount from the jeepney fare. But, as usual, the jeepney driver charged me two regular fares. I don't want to ruin the good feeling and chose not to argue with the driver. I would just think I gave him Php1 tip.
The old woman said she's visiting a brother who works near the LTO office doing typing job. She lives in Bulacan. I asked her why she commutes alone, she said her grandchildren are too young to accompany her. She said she only visits her siblings if she needs money. She touched her tummy and said she will be swinging by Jollibee first to use the washroom. And I thought, we have something in common - overactive bladder.
We reached our stop, and as we walked down the street, in a little less than a minute, I got to know she is already 73 years old, her name is Aida, and we have the same surname. Before we crossed the street, she told me I am a gift from heaven. That could be the most awesome/kilig/kind/sweet thing I have heard in my life - that is coming from an old woman I just met. I feel her gratitude is heartfelt.
I escorted her to the entrance of Jollibee (I think I saw the Happy Bee smiling wider than usual on me - okay, that is a scary thought!). I told the guard to assist her, while Lola Aida was so apologetic for the inconvenience she thought she caused me. I was worried because the washroom is at the second floor, but she told me she will use the one at the first floor. We said goodbyes, and I even waved my hand.
I walked down the street - a longer walk than the usual - but I was smiling. Not the usual reaction I wear whenever I am commuting on my way home. It was a good feeling to be of help. Kindness is contagious. Thanks for the great feeling.
I will end this post with this beautiful video.
Have a great day!
(I was supposed to blog about something else, but I thought this one is worth-sharing..)
Don't laugh. I have a confession. It was my first time to watch a Star Wars movie last night. I know the musical scoring, and the signature texts appearing in the screen as if we were lost in the galaxy reading the lines. Those memories were a blur and reminiscent of my childhood days. But I have never really embraced the Star Wars phenomenon when the episodes 1, 2 and 3 were released. So I got to watch the Episode 1 last night. But I did it with style. I watched it in 3D! Yup, I watched Star Wars Episode 1 (The Phantom Menace) in 3D!
May the force be with you!
For the record, I know Star Wars. I know Luke Skywalker, I know Yoda, R2D2 and the other characters. I basically know the story - but not all the details and action scenes. So I was delighted to finally see the movie (and be one of the firsts to see it in 3D!). The force is with me.
I am no expert in movie reviews, but let me just share my honest thoughts and review. There is no level of comparison for me. I were like a virgin, or a moviegoer from the primitive years experiencing the movie for the first time. I asked my friends' opinion if there were added scenes, and all the exciting elements of the original remain, with added dimension and nuance.
The Hot Young Designers Marketing Company (HYD) continues to make fashionable pieces as it launches its second collection for Fashion Face Off 2011. The first collection made by the designers for HYD was launched last October 2011. The collections and designs were sold in Global Pinoy Bazaar, St. James Bazaar and at the Rockwell Moonlit Bazaar.
Last January 25th, the designers launched their second collection. This quarter’s collection caters to young professionals, who value work-life balance. There's fashion for work, play and the beach! They desire to have an ensembles that they can wear from day to night (or in my case, night to day ;))
Sneak peak of the collection. I love that the collection is a collaboration of not just designers but also photographers and make-up artists! Very nice pictures!

Good Morning Beijing! It was officially our first day in Beijing. I cannot remember if we actually slept that night. When we arrived in the hotel, we were still awake at 4:00AM but we had to get up and eat heavy breakfast for today's trip. We were planning to visit the Temple of Heaven which is just near Holiday Inn Express.
So we went down to the second floor of the hotel for breakfast. We were surprised to see that there were actually alot of guests checked in!
Breakfast is the typical continental breakfast.
We just had bread, butter & jam on the succeeding days.. On our first morning,
Rez Toledo of SomedayDream never listened to Hale. He never listened to Champ's music. That is what he confessed last Wednesday night. But the irony is Rez is now being handled by the talented Champ (lead vocalist of Hale). Before girls get jealous of me and start sending me hate mails, for the record - I didn't have a date with Rez. He's too young for me and his boyish look make me feel older. WE actually had a date with him last Wednesday for the SomedayDream's First Blogger Night in Blue Onion (oh yeah, remember Blue Onion?! It used to be the hottest spot in Eastwood, and it has opened its doors once again - with live bands this time - one artist even invited me to sing that night because he says they are giving away cellphones. Check out Blue Onion Fanpage for details.).
