Air Asia New Payment Options and Hotline Number

I found myself complaining (again) that I haven't gone out for a real vacation. My last official vacation was in August 2011. I may be out at times, but they do not count as real vacation. So now I am praying that my plans to go to India this year will push through.

Anyways, for those who are always on the look-out for seat sales, Air Asia Philippines has good news for you - Air Asia Philippines introduces new  hotline number (starting today, February 25, 2013) and cash payment partners (starting February 28, 2013)

Oh yeah, you don't need a credit card to book a flight, and you will no longer miss your seat! All you need to do is go to a 7-Eleven store and settle the payment. More than 800 7-Eleven stores nationwide will start accepting cash payments for AirAsia on February 28th.

The payment partner service covers all Philippines’ AirAsia flights from its hub in Clark International Airport to Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur including domestic flights to Davao and Kalibo (Boracay).

If you will have questions or concerns, you can simply dial AirAsia’s new Philippine hotline number, +632.742.2742. It will be open daily, from Monday to Sunday, at 8:00AM – 9:00PM and they are live starting today - February 25th!

Then of course, you are always free to Tweet Air Asia Philippines @AirAsiaPh

I really hope/wish/pray, they will open a flight from Manila to India. Maybe, I can get the phone and call the hotline to ask.. ;)

Freeway's Swimwear Collection 2013

I just slept for 12 hours and I woke up, it is summer! Well it is not yet officially summer, because we are still in the love month - BUT summer will come early with Freeway's newest collection.

I remember doing my swimwear hauls online (through Victoria Secret), and even hoarding during trips (my favorite place is H&M).

Now, I don't need to go out of the country, to buy really nice swimwear. Freeway's new collection is about woman's shape and silhouette with lines, curves and cut outs as highlights.

The colors are red, orange, purple and teal, matching the vibrant and colorful feel of summer.

The PLDT Fibr

I got this new addiction of watching movies online. Well, I do watch movies online - once in a while, but not to the point of choosing to stay home than shop.  The addiction which has been on since last month (I think).  It started when I thought of watching my favorite movie trilogy (of all time!) - Back to the Future. Then I thought of watching The Hangover (1 and 2), simply because I couldn't relate to my friends' stories about the tiger at the washroom. Then, while making some photo books of my travels, I thought of watching The Terminal (Tom Hanks), because I remember my sister mentioned the film when I told her I was kind of worried about Canada immigration.

I know. I missed a lot of good movies. Probably because I don't have a constant date to hold hands with in the theater. Plus, cinema tickets have become too expensive (I remember when I was in College, we only pay Php60 - oh please, don't calculate my age!). So I rather stay home, feel comfy in my room and watch movies online - which I can even pause. What compels me to go out and watch movie are company of good friends, or press screenings for upcoming films (btw, have you read my reviews of Life of Pi, Good Day to Die Hard and Lincoln)?

But what I hate about watching movies online is the delay or slow connection. I know you are nodding. You hate that too. Well, thank PLDT for PLDT Fibr.

Last Monday, I attended the launch of PLDT Fibr at Salong de Ning, Manila Peninsula Hotel.

Who is Luigi D'Avola?

You might ask yourself, and I am asking it too. He is a new pretty boy in the music industry. But he is not just all face as this boy got talent and spunk.

And I am telling you, he is going to be a star, with (another pretty boy) Champ Lui Pio on his back - Luigi D'Avola is being launched as the fresh new face of Mecca Music. His debut album slated on March 2013.

Just in case you have not heard, Hale's former frontman Champ has successfully ventured into artist management and is now the CEO of the Mecca Music (oh, how I miss Hale!). For someone who has produced so many great songs, Champ sure knows a good talent once he sees one. Take for example, Rez Toledo (read my blog about him on this link!).

Now who really is Luigi D'Avola (pronounced as Da-vola)?

Here are the Winners of...

.. the Domex Gift Packs!

It is awesome conducting this contest. I meant to just run it with the usual like and share mechanics, BUT I thought giving it a little story and sort of a survey, and now I got interesting discoveries. I agree with most of the answers - Trinoma and Resorts World have got to be the most well-maintained washrooms - and I mean public washrooms.

When I was younger, I hate staying in the washroom while my friends put on make-up, but now that I am older, I always have that need to go to the washroom (my friends can testify!), so I hate going to crowded, small washrooms with no working flush, hand wash and water.

Anyways, here are the winners -

2013 GRAMMY® Nominees Album Now Available

It was Valentine's Day the other day, and I found myself listening to a break-up song. While the world was surrounded by roses, and everything smells like chocolate, I drowned myself with this beautiful song by Gotye. One time I even had it on repeat in my playlist.

What brought me to his world? Somebody That I Used to Know is announced the Record of the Year - and when I tried to breathe its melody, I just thought the song is brilliant. The rhythm, the beat (it reminds me of a children's song actually), the lyrics, and even the video - is just plain brilliant. Some might probably find it weird though.

Now I found myself researching about the artist and his other songs.

Anyways, for those who want a copy of the GRAMMY® Nominees Album, it is NOW available! Capitol Records, through PolyEast Records, will release the 2013 GRAMMY®
Nominees album. The 19th edition of the best-selling collection includes songs from GRAMMY® categories representing nominees for Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Album.

Hauls of the Week: Denim Boyfriend Shirt and More

Shopping makes me soo happy! Because of my busy schedule and commitments, I couldn't find the time to even buy my toiletries. I was literally out of things to use - like conditioner and girl essentials. Although I promise myself that I will no longer shop (often) and only buy the things that I need, I know that shopping is a part of me. It is my therapy. Especially that I am feeling a little depressed about so many things.

The last time I did a major shopping activity was in September. I was in Toronto.  Look at all the shopping bags I just threw at the corner of my room. I am sure you can see some familiar brands. Next time I wish to share my good-buys and hauls from Toronto. I didn't know how I managed to fit everything in my luggage.

Murray's New Orleans' MEGARITA Drinks

It is the Chinese New Year! It is time to celebrate! It is always nice to see updates and feeds from social media exuding good vibes. I suddenly felt the need to grab a cocktail glass and say "Cheers!"

Yes, cocktails. I miss having cocktails. I am a social drink, you see. I drink with the company of friends - to enjoy good conversations and not to get drunk. I remember when all my friends would order beer and hard drinks, I would always order margarita. Classic or frozen, both love the drink. It is always in the bar list wherever I am in the globe.

But admit that the drink doesn't come with a cheap price - after all, it's a mix of tequila, Triple Sec and lime (yes, I still remember the recipe! I memorized it for our finals in Bar Management class!). So imagine my delight when I found out that Murray's New Orlean's is serving Megarita for only Php299!

J. Co Donuts' First 24/7 Store in Eastwood City

Have you ever seen a J.Co Donuts without the long queue? I have seen it only once - last week, the J.Co Donuts Eastwood had its Grand Opening and instead of J.Co customers, I have seen media practitioners, bloggers and friends of J.Co Donuts gathered inside the store to celebrate the opening of its first 24/7 store in Manila (and the biggest and spacious store!)

The Eastwood store had been opened since December last year, and I am one of the many witnesses of how long the queue can get ever since its first day of opening. During the first days of January, we would even see people lined up as early as 6:00 in the morning to get their dozens of donuts. It was like having a mad sale of donuts everyday!

Sappe Beauti Drinks

"Is that a shampoo?", my sister asked me when I opened the box I received last December. I took out bottles of Sappe drinks. The clear bottles are printed with flowers - one in green and pink.

The labels say they are Beauti Drinks. Nice naming. Very catchy.  Would these bottles make me beautiful? I hope so. The pink ones says they are for Beautiful Skin and the green one is for Better Digestion.

These drinks are products of Thailand’s Sapanan General Food Co., Ltd. called “Beauti Drink” and “Beauti Drink with Fiber". The products are from the same makes of the widely-popular “Mogu-Mogu” fruit juice drink with nata de coco made available in the Philippines last year.
