What type of casing do you use for your (precious) phones?! Do you use the wallet case type with nice prints or plain leather-like ones for men? I remember the type of casing I used for my 3210 then (I was so cool using the first phone without an antenna! Hehe). I bought the skeleton type, and the plastic type - they did protect my phone from dirt and stain, but I was still careful not to drop the unit. I got a backlight on my phone and a cool Mission Impossible ringtone. Now that phones get smarter, and become more expensive, it is only practical to buy a case which is not just durable but fashionable too.
The video below is a little too graphic and needs Parental Guidance. Not for those with weak hearts.
Are you ready?

Finesse's "I'll Take Care of You" Caravan with Andrew Wolff
It is no fun taking calls 8 hours a day, dealing with irate callers in other geographies, and missing your lunch/bio break to resolve customer's concern. I should know, I experienced the same when our account needed help in taking volume of calls. That is why, call center agents need a break they deserve. The best treat that they got, hmm.. how about having your hair washed by non-other than hunk Andrew Wolff of Philippine Volcanoes?!

My Multiply Buys and My Shopping Experience at the New Multiply.com
I just want to share my Multiply buys and my experience in shopping through the new Multiply site. I ordered and got the items a few months ago, but there was a little concern that caused my delay in publishing my write-up.
Before I go on sharing my shopping experience, let me just share what I bought from the Php1000 voucher we got from the Multiply.com Media Launch held last July. I wanted to really check how the new Multiply service works, so I chose to order from different sellers.
Here are my best buys!

Great Buy of the Week: Nippies from The Strip - (Don't Buy Cheap Nippies!!!)
I bought it weeks ago. I attended an event in 7th High in the Bonifacio Global City and took the chance to drop by at The Strip to buy new set of nippies!
I looove nippies! Remember that I featured cheap nippies as a good buy some months ago?! It turned out it is not a good buy after all. My original nippies finally "sagged" and I had no choice but to use the cheap ones. I thought I was feeling lucky. I can be daring but I never want to go "au naturale". It would saved my night because I had to be really chic for the F21 Mastercard Launching event.

Triumph feat Ruffa Gutierrez @ The Philippine Fashion Week
Last week was a celebration of fashion and talent for Filipino designers and international brands. I was so thankful to our friends in Leung De Leon Marketing Services, Inc for putting me on guestlist for the Triumph International show. Yey! I looooove lingeries and underwear! I always wear my best underwear whenever I go out because I wouldn't know what will happen to me at the end of the day - either I will meet an accident or go home with a hot hunk (kidding!). So ladies, always wear your best underwear. They should always match!
I came in just in time before the show started. To be honest, I was not ready for the Fashion Week. I didn't have my nails done (not wearing the usual nail art!), and my dress I picked from my closet after taking a shower.

I Will Be Representing the Philippines!!!
Yes, you heard the title right. Unfortunately, I am not flying with an entourage, wearing a sash and waving to the crowd and press people. And nope, you wouldn't see me in two-piece, but I might do alot of Question and Answer interviews in the next few months. And yes, I am hoping for a send-off party! (a wink!).

Drink Enercal Plus After the Wake Up Call!
How many hours of sleep do you get everyday? I usually have 4 hours and I thought that was enough. To think that I work at night, and my bedtime is just when the sun is up. Last night was rather a better sleep. It was nicer to sleep at night but I cannot have that luxury (only weekends) because I have work to do and deadlines to meet. I take a lot of caffeine, and I eat alot of junk especially when I am stressed out. I don't even have exercise. The only exercise I know is walking and climbing up, and going down stairs. I wonder what age would I die? There are even times that I would attend events before I report to work, then attend another event after signing out in the office. I thought what I was doing was fine. I am young, I don't get sick and I still managed to do the things that I need to do although I know that my health is being compromised.
Oftentimes, I feel envious of people who play alot of roles in their lives. Take for example, Paolo Bediones. From a reality show host he turned into a broadcast journalist. He hosts a documentary show, runs a business, plays with his band and supervises his soccer team (and he's also a volunteer). I wonder how he manages to do everything.

Freeway Launches National Artist Collection Series featuring Vicente Manansala
Do you know Vicente Manansala? I feel guilty that I was not even familiar with the name of one of our National Artists. I am glad that Freeway once again featured a great artist (should I say National Artist) on its latest collection to not just promote fashion but also re-introduce great names who had made an impact and influence on their fields.
Freeway launches the National Artist Collection featuring the works of Vicente Manansala last Tuesday at the Ramp in Glorietta 5. It is the 6th installment since its first collection launched last 2009. Remember, I was also in the event when Freeway paid tribute to National Artist for Literature (F. Sionil Jose)? I cannot miss this type of events because it is my only chance to reconnect with art.

Forever21 Mastecard Launch at Prive Bar
I got tired of blogging for a few days, plus I got tons of deadlines to meet in the office. The next series of blog entries would be about F-A-S-H-I-O-N.
I just want to share some of the pictures I have taken during the Forever 21 Mastercard Launch in the newly opened bar Prive in the Fort. I am sure you have already read my coverage posted in Earthlingorgeous site. If you haven't, click on the link to find out what happened in the launching. Also you would see what I wore during the event (a wink!)

What is a Healthy Deal?
Discounts. Sale. Bargain. 50% Off. 90% Off. Deals. Don't we get excited when we see those terms? Like a woman marrying the man of my dreams, I would say with conviction "I do". I do get excited when I see those words. I can feel my heartbeat and blood rushing through my veins.
Healthy. Wellness. Good. Balanced. New terms and words that majority of the market is seeking and trying to achieve. Put the two concepts together, the Healthy Deals Philippines is born.

Stressed.. Distressing.. Blogging..
I am sooo stressed/tired/sick.. I was looking forward to meeting up with my bloggie friends in Greenbelt this afternoon, BUT I WOKE UP LATE and totally missed it! When I checked my phone, I got unread messages. One asking if I would attend the meeting supposedly this afternoon to plan the Year-End Party. I missed it too, I got the call-in details, but I realized I was already 30 minutes late for the meeting, and was too sleepy to dial without anything else to consider, my mind just decided to go back to sleep!

10 Things I Want to Do Before I Die or Before the World Ends
You see that widget on top? That's a timer which shows the the time left for us.. the world is ending!! Not! Sorry if I am making you nervous. I just thought that timer looks good in my site.
Just the same, I am making the list of the things I wanted to do before I die or before the world ends. I know I should really start doing each item, and totally crossing all of it out.
1. Visit the Egypt and have my picture with the Pyramids. I am always fascinated with its culture and rich heritage.
2. Spend all my savings and shop until the world ends! There's no stopping for me, I could crawl and still shop!
3. Tell my crush/es, I really, really like them and that I oftentimes wonder how good they are as a kisser :p (so they would feel sorry for missing the chance of knowing me!).
4. Share my faith.
5. Show the world - my friends, family and bloggies, and followers that I had a good life!
6. Watch a concert/or join the cruise of the New Kids on the Block (I am that fanatic!)
7. Learn the things that I just cannot learn like playing the guitar, swimming and understanding Algebra.
8. Eat all the food I loove - Royal Chocolate Cake, Pasta, more chocolates!
9. Be a bartender for a day. If salary is not a concern, I would want to be a bartender.
10. Make love with my loved one over and over again - and wait til the world explodes.
I know there is no better time to start but now. Some of the things of my list are not feasible, yet most can be done although they seem a little selfish.
How about you? What's on your list?

Shopinas.com: Online Shopping Site that Accepts Credit Card
I really hate going to the banks and doing transactions there. The reason I do online banking is to save me time - I do fund transfer online, pay my bills and even load my mobile. But I got no choice this morning but to go to the bank, fall inline for 30 minutes and just get tired standing up while I check each and every person in the bank to ensure they are not bank robbers. I paid an item I bought online, and this seller does not accept Paypal payments. So the only option is to go to the bank. One single transaction while the people ahead of me were doing payroll deposits and change fund requests. I had to deposit the payment or else I would be reported to the site admin for non-payment of the item.
I wish the seller, or should I say the online store/site accepts credit card payments so my life would be alot easier. Looks like fairy godmother gives us Shopinas.com to make our online shopping experience alot smoother.
I browsed through the stores and I like that the shops can design their own store and even customize the link.

Leslie's New Products: Farmer John's Premium Chips and Wild Willy's Chicharrones
My mom always tells me to cut down on junk food. I felt like a kid when she found out all the packs of chips I ate in my room's trashcan. She almost asked me to stand in the corner. I assured her I drink lots of water - sometimes even more than 8 glasses.
So when I came home from Blogapalooza with a bag of Leslie's items, I thought I would have a good day! I was already imagining myself in my room, snacking on this goodies, watching DVD or reading blogs. But mom is once again playing the antagonist.
So it took me a month before I finish the packs (actually I still have one big pack that I cannot open because my mom is guarding it).

Human (Heart) Nature Asks Us to Read the Label: Read the Label App Launch
It is not just Steve Jobs and IBM who changed the world, but Human Nature too - and Human Nature is continuously working hard to change the lives not only of the consumers, but also its workers and beneficiaries. Imagine how many switchers are now using Human Nature products not just to stay healthy and safe, but also to help the environment and support the advocacy?
With the information easily accessed literally with a finger tip and swipe, there are alot of us which are not aware of the harmful effects of the chemicals in the products that we are using. It is true that the word Natural is overused, and you see them pasted and printed in every product in different sizes and packaging. But how many are aware about the harmful chemicals in the toothpaste that we use, the shampoo, conditioner, eye liner, lipstick, lipgloss, make-up and even hand sanitizers that we use to keep us clean?
Thank God for Human Nature. We can assure that we we put in our skin are safe. I have this coworker who is a fan of Human Nature and all organic products. Even her dishwashing soap is organic, and yes, she loves Human Nature too much! But now, Human Nature is not just asking us to switch, but to Read the Label too.

Dinner Date with Mom at Spiral (Sofitel) Before Typhoon Pedring Checked In
When the news about typhoon Pedring's destructive aftermath hit the news, with Sofitel Hotel on news flash and headlines, it was like Pedring hitting the Metro all over again for my mom.
She was worried and saddened, as if she were a stockholder of the hotel. Like lovers in Paris, we once had a dinner date in the luxurious Spiral. She had a great time then, I know; and she was probably saddened that the great memory was washed away with the angry waves of Manila Bay.
I know it wouldn't take long before Sofitel re-opens its doors and yes, the elegant hotel, is operating once again.

My First Racing Experience at City Kart Racing
This activity is highly recommended as a team-building activity!
I honestly think that I can now race in Formula One. That's after hitting the mark when the staff waved the checkered flag signalling Finish Line and End of the Game. Let's go kart!
The whole experience of Kart Racing yesterday morning was indeed exhilarating, fun and safe. Thank you to City Kart Racing! It is as if we were really in a real race competing with other racers with our scores/stats being updated real time in the LCD screens installed in the place after each lap we completed.
The City Kart Racing is temporarily settled in the 7/8F of Park Square One (yeah, Park Square has different way of numbering their floors). If you are wondering what I was doing in a race track early Saturday morning, I was there for the Bloggers Blaze Race. I made a quick research about the City Kart before the event, and I found out through one of the post that the business has been here since 2006! I am soo glad I went despite lack of sleep.

LG 3D Digital Night: Playing Games 3D-Style
I cannot remember the last time I played a video game inwhich I got so competitive. I think it was in the 90s, and I was still in grade school. I played and finished all the known games for Family Computer - but I never moved forward to GameBoy, or Playstation or Xbox. I find it funny that I found joy in playing Angry Birds, and Fruit Slice and Ninjump. So when I got an invite from LG Home Entertainment Group for an LG 3D Night with bloggers and media friends, I got excited and nervous because I know it is going to be a competitive gaming night.
So for only one night, we competed in unique and interactive experiences, to determine how well we knew 3D technology, while showcasing our gaming skills through gaming consoles. It smells like Algebra for me.

Lunch Buffet at Marriott Cafe (Resorts World) - 50% Discount til October 31st!
I promised myself I would no longer indulge in food trips and even dismissed the idea of opening a food blog. I have a goal that I need to reach, remember?
But when an invite to try out the buffet offering at Marriott Cafe was sent to my inbox, I could only think of one response - "Yes, I would be there!".
So I was there in Marriott Hotel in Resorts World, Saturday lunch time, together with other bloggers and bloggies (term used by Tatak Digitista which refers to his blogger friends). I am now calling them bloggies because I am always with them during events. I was sooo glad I went because not only did I get to taste Marriott Cafe's lush buffet offering, but I finally meet the bloggers behind the ChingReyes.com website (yes, she's one travel blogger who also loves trying out hotel buffets!), and Crumpylicious Blog (she/he/they know how to flatter me - yes, the blog is owned by a couple - telling me how much they love my way of writing. Thank you! Love the posts in their blog too!).
So enough of the talk, let's get straight to the buffet table.

A Nude Picture with Boudoir Dolls
I just looked at my body infront of the mirror - and I don't like what I see. It's been a while since I looked at myself infront of the mirror - and I mean, look at my naked body. Too bad, the only person who (I think) really appreciates my body has been away - this person who adores me and makes me feel like a goddess is miles away - and my worry is - what if he will no longer like what he would see in me?

Have you also looked at your old pictures and wish you were as thinner/sexier/leaner as what you are seeing in the pictures? But going back to those days when those pictures were taken, you used to rant at how big/fat/chubby you felt then. I am feeling the same thing, but I just chose not to look at my old pictures (yeah.. especially the ones taken at the beach!).

Libera is Back in the Philippines with a Christmas Album
The first time I heard the boys sing, I was so amazed and amused. They were like angels singing with such soothing voices blended into one harmonic voice. The group is called Libera. I first saw and heard them sing in Showtime, and I was so amazed at how they sang Ang Bayan Ko as if they were singing it in their own language. The English accent made the rendition more special.
Here it is:
Libera is an all-boy English vocal group directed by Robert Prizeman and most members come
from the parish choir of St. Philip's, Norbury, in South London. The boys are back in the country and they are bringing us a Christmas Album with 16 tracks collecting traditional and new unique arrangements of classical and contemporary holiday tunes.

Johnny Chow: Amazing Seats and Amazing Asian Cuisine!
Everytime I will go to Resorts World to cover events, I always look at the Johnny Chow restaurant - eyeing it as if it was a target. So when I finally got the chance to be in Resorts World at dinner time (how perfect!), I immediately suggested dinner at Johnny Chow to my friends. My Balikbayan friend was a little hesitant to try it because she has been eating and breathing Chinese food in Dubai for many months now, but when we saw that the menu offers fusion of Malaysian, Singaporean, Chinese and Korean, we had to settle down and asked a table for three.
My goal to eat here was rather shallow. I once saw a profile picture of a girl sitting on one of the chairs with Marilyn Monroe-ish painting at the back. I even posted a status message in Facebook asking my friends if they can point me to a restaurant with such lovely chic chairs. My foodie friends were clueless, and even told me to go to France. Food blogs cannot help me too. I found the restaurant like a treasure, like a pot of gold on my own.

In the Company of Mommies and Single Ladies
This blog entry was drafted last September 26th offline. In my room. On my bed. While I was listening to good music.
I felt restless. I attended a site-slash-birthday party last Saturday, then yesterday (Sunday) was Friends Day. Lunch time was for former co-workers and night was for College friends. I have to thank my mom for being understanding of my crazy schedule. I no longer have curfews, but her biggest worry is me, not getting enough sleep.
Anyway, it was my friends' (both parents are my friends) daughter's first birthday party, and this party served like a mini-reunion for our batch. Having kid/s was like a passport during the party. Please include the stroller and baby carrier. I came alone but I wore shorts and cute tank top with Lola Bunny printed infront - to celebrate with kids and to take a break from the usual dresses I wear in the office. But the outfit didn't conceal my fear of having a baby while I listen to my friends talk about sleeping patterns, diapers and nannies. I know I don't want to have a baby yet (even if Derek Ramsey or my office crushie volunteers to donate his semen!) It is still a No. Or maybe Not Now. I don't even know how to carry a baby! I tried carrying two infants (one at a time, of course), and I know it distorted my posture even more. I cannot deny that their bodies feel so warm and soft, and babies always smell fresh even without cologne. I had my pic taken carrying the babies - but I honestly prefer to have my pic taken carrying travel bags and shopping bags.

IBM Pushes for Smarter Industries in the Philippines
It doesn't matter from what industry you are, or what role you are playing in an organization. Looks like everyone would benefit from this move initiated by IBM. Isn't it nice to be working in company which leads?!
